Alpharetta, GA – July 11, 2008 The National Finance Center (NFC), a division of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), has selected Cajana to provide curriculum design, custom course materials, training delivery, and Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK) development and hosting services for its PeopleSoft HCM and other managed applications. The five-year agreement essentially establishes Cajana as the training department for the NFC, which acts as a shared-service center for human resources, payroll, and timekeeping functions for over 20 Federal agencies.

“We evaluated several providers, and Cajana demonstrated a clear superiority in the quality of their solutions, their knowledge and experience with UPK, and their depth of knowledge of PeopleSoft, which is the core of our EmpowHR solutions for our Federal customers,” said Theresa Trentacoste, NFC’s Manager of Training and Documentation. “We also were impressed with their ability to host the development and deployment environments for UPK in their data center. We’re looking forward to their help in accelerating the delivery of high-quality training to our end users, both in the classroom and online.”

Cajana’s team is expected to arrive on-site at the NFC’s secure facility in New Orleans, LA, the first week of August to begin the engagement. The initial efforts will focus on immediate, tactical training needs, and move to more strategic efforts in the following months.
