Alpharetta, GA – December 20, 2010 - Northwest State Community College (NSCC), a two-year Ohio public institution with over 3,500 students, today selected Cajana to provide full application hosting and managed services for Sungard Higher Education’s Banner, Luminis, Degreeworks, and eVisions applications. The college is also upgrading from Banner 7.x to Banner 8 as part of the transition to Cajana’s hosting solution. Through a separate agreement between Cajana and the Ohio Academic Resources Network (ORANet), the applications will reside on infrastructure in the Wright State University data center in Dayton, OH.
“Our location in rural Ohio made it a challenge for us to recruit and retain skilled resources to administer our applications, so outsourcing was our best option,” said Matthew Osborn, NSCC’s Director of IT. “We evaluated proposals from several providers, and Cajana clearly came out on top.
